For Android Users:
- Ensure that you are logged into your AddMe account.
- Open the side navigation drawer/menu.
- Click on ‘My Profile’.
- In the upper right corner of the navigation bar, tap on the three dots to open a dropdown menu.
- From the dropdown menu, select ‘Advanced Settings’.
- Within the ‘Advanced Settings’, tap on the red button labeled ‘Permanent Account Deletion’.
- A confirmation alert will appear, asking if you’re sure you want to delete your account. Confirm your decision.
- Upon confirmation, you will be logged out of your account. Your account will then enter a 7-day hold period, during which you can log back in and cancel the deletion process.
- If you do not cancel the deletion within these 7 days, your account and all related data will be permanently removed.
For iOS Users:
- Ensure that you are logged into your AddMe account.
- Navigate to the bottom of the screen and tap on ‘My Profile’.
- Within ‘My Profile’, tap on ‘Account Settings’.
- Within ‘Account Settings’, tap on the red button labeled ‘Permanent Account Deletion’.
- A confirmation alert will appear, asking if you’re sure you want to delete your account. Confirm your decision.
- Upon confirmation, you will be logged out of your account. Your account will then enter a 7-day hold period, during which you can log back in and cancel the deletion process.
- If you do not cancel the deletion within these 7 days, your account and all related data will be permanently removed.
Remember, this process is irreversible after the 7-day period, so ensure that you want to completely delete your account and all associated data before proceeding.
